Battle against the spiritual forces of evil

"For unclean spirits came out of many who had cried aloud, and many paralyzed and lame were healed. And the city was filled with joy." Acts 8:7, 8

There are many books that are appearing on former Satanists from their experiences of liberation. But exactly what should be the primary emphasis? I think it's the release itself.

Jesus came to free the captives and oppressed of this world. Are oppressed by Satan and his demons or the adversities of life. The apostles received great authority of the Lord Jesus Christ to expel evil spirits, fallen angels, fallen angels, demons. Those are rebellious angels who disobeyed God and blasphemed against God and were expelled from the Eternal Kingdom.

These supernatural beings, invisible, hate the man. Why? In the first place because God loves man. So much love that gave His own Son, God the Son Jesus Christ as a sacrifice. Second, because Satan rejoices with those who worship him as a "god" but hates anyone who offers worship to the Creator God. But the men were given a mandate of the Creator himself and fight to expel the demons: The name of Jesus Christ!

Satan, that old serpent, wanted to usurp the title "God."Jesus called Satan "the prince of this world" and the apostle Paul's "god of this world." Satan and his minions have supernatural ability and power, of course limited to operate on people's lives, to break homes, people grieve among other evil deeds. But the believer has the name that is above every name to successfully overcome the forces of evil.

But if we have this wonderful name, the real presence of Jesus Christ in us (Jesus said:

"Here I am with you always until the end of the age" Matthew 28:20

and the authority it granted to us, then why do so many Christians are "shy" and often be overcome by the wiles of the enemy?

The above text, in Acts 07.08 tells us that the demons were expelled "cried with a loud voice, gave a great shout." You will see why they could do nothing to remain "incubated" in the body of the victim. They went out of the authority of the name of Jesus!Someone may ask: But the apostles were given this authority directly to Jesus! The Bible says that we also have this authority.Remember the 70 disciples who were sent by Jesus to heal diseases and cast out demons in Christ's name? And they returned with joy because the diseases were really healed and the demons were subject to the name of the Lord? (See this in Luke 10). The disciples said, "... even the demons obey us because of your name." The emphasis of this text is Luke 10:17 "for the name of Jesus." These 70 represent the Church of Christ. That's us. But it is important to understand that power is not in us. It flows through us. We are conducting this power of God. The power is in the name of Jesus Christ. We are instruments of God, in Jesus' name, he did wonderful things, that the captives are set free and the oppressed, for the honor and glory of the Lord's name.

Therefore do not be shy or another Bible translation, are not afraid! Jesus used this expression when there arose a great storm on the Sea of Galilee and the apostles were in the boat, afraid, knowing that Jesus was in the boat while sleeping:

"And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? Have you no faith?" Mark 4:40

I do not know what situation you're going through. Many people have written to advise me in this direction and all I said some things are necessary for spiritual combat:

A) A life dedicated to God B) Sanctification C) Confession of sins D) The practice of the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22) E) Fe, a lot of faith. F) Authority in the name of Jesus Christ.

Look for a righteous life before the Lord. You are not alone, quite the contrary, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are all days, 24 hours, in us and around us. Make an effort to exercise their position and chosen generation, a royal priesthood (I Peter 2.9) to combat the evil forces that fight against his life and the lives of those you love. God wants to bless your life. God wants to use you as an instrument of liberation and a source of blessing in the lives of captive and oppressed. Believe this authority of the Lord Jesus, if you are a believer. Pray fervently and boldly for who "asks receives" (Matt. 7.7). God owns all power and glory. But it will only give you the victory when you trust and believe in Him by faith. Do not be shy, do not be afraid. The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man and rods!
Hearty hug in Christ Jesus our Lord and King Eternal.
