When we talk about premarital sex, touching, masturbation and pornography, the main question that many ask is: "Is that a sin?".I think this question is quite common, although a convincing answer has been overlooked for generations. So, humbly, I handle it in a way intellectually honest and going straight to the point, without ado, using four key texts, believing that no one can deny the truth of Scripture.
"But I say to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I, but if they can not contain, let them marry.Because it is better to marry than to burn "(1 Corinthians 7:8,9).
Paul's reasoning is quite simple. He is arguing about whether unmarried and widows embrace celibacy - the non-marriage. In the midst of his teaching, he makes a short and important advice on sexual desire. Even though he was anxious that these people do not marry, he knew that some would feel strong desires, at the risk of someone unable to "restrain themselves". What these people should do? Attitudes that those who do not have the strength to hold suasexualidade be taken? Masturbation to relieve? Pornography to relax a little? Throw on some "catch" the girlfriend? None. Paul has only two choices for those who can not overcome his desire, or house, or "burns" - the other translations put it as "burning with desire."
The text is clear, although we read it with due attention for the most part. You, young man, has uncontrollable sexual desires? You feel a pit of lust and is about to explode with desire? God only allows you to make two choices: either get married or remain so - to fill your every desire in the way he taught."Is honorable among all and the marriage bed undefiled: but those who give themselves to prostitution, and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4).
This text requires a bit more attention. The writer uses language that may go unnoticed in our eyes if we are not careful. This text speaks basically sobresexo. We have a clear order to venerate, or pay honors to two interchangeable sexual environments. First, marriage, and second, the bed undefiled. Then he explains that God will judge those who live opposite a sexuality that should be honored, ie, those living emprostituição and those living in adultery. We can see without much effort, which is contrasted with marriage bed undefiled and prostitution, adultery. Let's look at these two oppositions. The second objection is simple: we noticed that when tampered with, ie, we betray our spouses, we have sinned against the bed undefiled - that the text can only be the bed of a married couple properly. That is, every relationship sexualfora the bed of your partner is adultery (even those that do not leave the field of mind and heart, according to Matthew 5:27,28).Since the first opposition is what draws our attention in a more specific: sexual activity outside marriage are considered as an act of prostitution. Any sex that does not occur within a marriage is an attitude whore - and worthy of God dojulgamento.Friend, all sexual attitude that occurs outside of marriage is considered in this section of Hebrews, as an act of prostitution. The Holy Scripture commands: "Flee fornication" and adds: "All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). Escape from todaatitude prostitute, flee from all that sex happens outside marriage."Son of man, there were two women, daughters of one mother. They became prostitutes in Egypt, engaging in prostitution from a young age. In that land their breasts were fondled and caressed her breasts were virgins "(Ezekiel 23:2,3).The text is very simple. God is telling Ezekiel to the story of two sisters from her mother who turned to prostitution in the land of Egypt, even when they are young. The main point that God points out those women on prostitution is that "their breasts were fondled and caressed her breasts were virgins." Girls, if you treat the "hits" from her boyfriend as an act of prostitution, such as you fight this fight against sex itself? Before God, is the same sin."I made a deal with my eyes not to look lustfully at the girls" (Job 31:1)Scripture testifies to Job, saying he was a "man of integrity, straight and God-fearing," who "eschewed evil" (1:1). The Lord God made himself that there was "no one on earth ... like him, a man blameless and upright, fearing God and shuns evil" (1:8).Knowing the quality that God has given to this servant, we see an example in Chapter 31 of the book that tells his story. Job, exposing their own works of righteousness, says he made a pact to follow the same "not to look lustfully at the girls." Matthew 5:27,28 The text makes clear that coveting someone is in itself an act of adultery. As before this act of Job, we can try to defend pornography as acceptable? We can not in any way, give in to our carnal desires to preach to our mind, saying only observe does not produce any harm. We say as the Psalmist: "I will not put anything bad in front of my eyes" (Ps. 101:3).What we learn from these four biblical texts? We see the first letter of Paul to the Christians of Corinth that we only have two choices with respect to our desires: either married (which is recommended) or burn with desire. Masturbation, pornography or taps are not options, or home, or burns. We can see from the text of Hebrews, that every sexual act that occurs outside of marriage is fornication and that every sexual act that occurs without being with your spouse is adultery. So, all auto-eroticism, premarital sex, foreplay and even masturbate when your wife is not in order to have sex attitudes are worthy of the trial of the Holy God.We realize the prophecy of Ezekiel that improperly touching girls in prostitution is a sin, showing at least that the relationship between an unmarried couple should never pass the kisses and caresses behaved. Finally, Job teaches us with his life, not to covet the girls (or boys, consequently), leading us to realize that pornography and voyeurism are sinful acts that must be mortified in our lives. So, friend, take the time to deal with it. Maybe you've considered these acts as sinful, then meditate over these texts and more confirm the truths you already know if you do not have the sexual sins that have been presented here as really sinful, read the biblical texts presented here carefully and prayerfully. Surrender yourself to the truths presented in Scripture and the living will of the FatherNote: I know this subject is painful for most young people.Treating these sins of indifference and a way with little compassion is irresponsible and is an attitude worthy of severe trial. Do not use these truths without love and not use love as an excuse to diminish the truth. Perhaps this text fall into this condemnation, but the fault of his more technical. See rule, meekness is the best way to treat slaves of sinfulness. Do not forget that.
