Principalities and Powers

The Christian locked in a spiritual battle against Satan and a multitude of evil spirits (Matt. 4:10).
1. The powers of darkness are spiritual rulers of the world (John 12:31, 14:30, 16:11, 2 Corinthians 4:4, 1 John 5:19), urging the wicked (Ephesians 2:2), opposes the will of God (Gen. 3:1-7, Daniel 10:12-13, Matthew 13:38-39) and constantly attacks the believers (Eph. 12, 1 Peter 5:8).
2. It is a vast multitude (Rev. 12:4,7), highly organized form of the evil empire, taking classes and orders (Eph 2:2, Jn 14:30).
Satan - Satan Satan from the Greek, which means adversary, was before a large angel, created perfect and good. He was appointed as minister to the throne of God, but at a certain time before the world was, rebelled and became the chief adversary of God and men (Ezekiel 28:12-15).
Demons - Satan in his rebellion against God brought an lot of the lower orders of angels (Rev. 12:4) which may be identified (after his fall) with the demons and evil spirits.
Satan and many of these fallen angels were banished to lower the land and its surrounding atmosphere, where they operate according to the limited permissive will of God.
Satan also called "the serpent", led to the downfall of the human race (Gen. 3:1-6, 1 John: 5:19).
The empire of evil reigns over which Satan (Matt. 12:26) is highly organized and has authority over the regions of the underworld, the fallen angels (Matt. 25:41, Rev. 12:7), men lost (Mt 4: 8-9, John 12:31, Ephesians 2:2), and the world (Luke 4:5-6, 2 Corinthians 4:4, 1 John 5:19).
Satan is not omnipresent, omnipotent or omniscient, so the Aioria part of their activity is delegated to its innumerable demons (Matthew 8:28, Revelation 16:13-14, Job 1:12).
Jesus came to earth to destroy the works of Satan (1 John 3:8), to establish the kingdom of God and free man from Satan (MT12: 28, Luke 4:19, Luke 13:16, Acts 26:18). Vristo by his death and resurrection defeated Satan and won his final victory over him (Hebrews 2:14).
