Security of the Bible: Let us consider these words of Allan Kardec: "In Christianity are all truths" (The Gospel According to Spiritism, chap. VI, item 5). The Bible has always been the only basis of doctrine and rule of faith and conduct of true Christians. In 2 Timothy 3:16 it is written: "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness."
Jesus Christ, had the second Kardecism as the revelation of God to men (Moses was the first), said the strength and plenary inspiration of the Bible. In John 17:17, praying to the Father, He says: "Your word is truth" (cf. Psalm 119 160). When tempted, always using the phrase "it is written," he said quoting the text of Deuteronomy 8.3: "Not by bread alone doth man live, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God" (Matthew 4.4). In Matthew 24:35 says, "Heaven and earth will pass away but my words shall not pass away." He always used the Bible to teach, reprove, correct or instruct in justice.
To the Sadducees, who did not believe in the resurrection, Jesus replied: "Ye do err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God" (Matthew 22:29). Jesus still commands us to examine the Scriptures, for they are they which testify of His redemptive work: "You search the Scriptures because you think you have eternal life, and these are they which testify of me. However, do not want to come to me to have life "(John 5:39-40) Again.
In the parable of the rich man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31), Jesus once again demonstrates his belief in the Scriptures tell the response given by the patriarch Abraham to the rich, when, in Sheol, Hades (hell), asked him to send Lazarus to his brothers: "And Abraham said, They have Moses and the Prophets, let them hear them" (verse 29). Jesus refers to Moses and the Prophets to tell us that no other form of disclosure may be presented to men (including the psychic), because, through them, we were given the true revelation - the Bible.
What does the Bible say about reincarnation? The Mini Dictionary Aurelio Reincarnate conceptualizes the verb as follows: "1. Resume (the spirit) the material form. 2. Making incarnate." Unlike the resurrection, which is the spirit back to the same body, reincarnation means the return of spirit to a new body, successively, to achieve progress.
In fact, except by means of a forced exegesis, the Bible there is any direct or indirect reference to reincarnation. Rather, the Scriptures teach that, just as Jesus came into the world once, for man is destined to die once: "And as man is destined to die once, but after this, the court, so Christ was offered once for all to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time without sin, to those who wait for salvation "(Hebrews 9:27). The one sacrifice of Jesus, dying on the cross, is more than enough to set us free from sin and bring us to God: "For Christ died once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous to bring you to God ; dead, yes, in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit "(1 Peter 3:18).
All the biblical teaching is in the sense that we can only die once until the final judgment of God. Jesus not only raised three days after His death, but also included the resurrection of His miracles (John 11.11-44). Several other passages in the Bible demonstrate the reality of the resurrection (Daniel 12:2; Isaiah 26:19, Hosea 6:2; 1 Corinthians 15.21-22, John 5.28-29, Acts 24:15, Revelation 20:6). In all these texts, means resurrecting the spirit's return to his own body (see also 1 Corinthians 15.12-22).
So, if there is reincarnation, I do to be Saved? The answer is in Acts 16:31: "... Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Only through our faith, pure and unconditional, is that we obtain salvation through Jesus Christ. He himself said: "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, shall live" (John 11:25). There is no other way and no other truth than this (see John 14:6). No use waiting another existence, because this is the only opportunity. Jesus, alone, is one who gives us eternal life: "I give them eternal life shall never perish, and no one can snatch them out of my hand" (John 10:28). So, look to Jesus Christ today, give your heart to Him and He will hear, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13).
