Five practical tips for you to remain faithful to God and your spouse.
The suggestions are equally helpful to singles.
1) Cultivate a usual sense of the divine presence, realizing that "the eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good" (Prov. 15:3).
2) Keep a close watch on the senses, because, too often, these are the avenues that instead of allowing the current nice to refresh in general let in mud and sludge to pollute the soul. Make a pact with his eyes (Job 31:1). Close your ears against any obscene conversation. Do not read anything that defiles. Watch your thoughts, and work swiftly to expel those who are perverse.
3) EAA Practice sobriety temperance (1 Cor 9:27). Those who indulge in gluttony and drunkenness often find that their excesses lead to greed.
4) Work out a lawful and honest occupation, is evidence that idleness is as fatal to many as intemperance others. Avoid the company of the wicked.
5) Spend a lot of fervent prayer, imploring God to cleanse your heart (Ps 119:37).
