Several religious leaders recently gathered at the headquarters ofMantena Project in Newark (New Jersey) to plan the first GospelBrazilian Day in the United States, an event which will gatherseveral singers Brazilian evangelicals.
The churches of New Jersey and New York are planning this event,as well as other neighboring states that will join to represent the Brazilian states and thus make representations with musical groups, bands and folkloric presentations of each state. The coordination of the musical event will be run by the PaganiniInternational Institute of Music and Dance Academy and has the support of Vejatv.com as well as network affiliates.
Brazilian Day In the Gospel, the churches have the opportunity toshow their local talent as well as acquire typical Brazilian food stalls.
The event takes place every year in New York and brings together various Brazilian artists. The 2011 event took place last Sunday, September 4, and filled 14 blocks of downtown Manhattan.
